The following tutorial will present the steps required to delete the cache partition from your Android device.

What is cache partition?
The Cache Partition is where Android stores frequently accessed data and app components. Wiping this cache will NOT affect your personal data. It will simply erase the data is stored there and it will be automatically rebuild as soon you start using your device.

Reboot the device in Recovery Mode

In order to reboot device in recovery mode you will have to:
* Power off the device
* Power on the device
* When your manufacturer logo appears, press and hold Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons for 10 seconds
Note: This step may be different for certain Android devices, but a simple Google search will bring up the answer.

Open Recovery Mode

* In order to determine if you have booted in Recovery mode, make sure that a little android robot will be displayed, lying on his back.
* Press Volume Down until Recovery Mode is highlighted
* Once is highlighted press the Power button to select it

Open Android System Recovery

* Once recovery mode is started press the Power button and tap Volume Up button
* This will launch Android System Recovery

Initiate cache partition wiping

* Once Android System Recovery is started use the Volume UP / DOWN to highlight WIPE DATA CACHE PARTITION
* Press Power button to start the process

Additional Info

This process will take up to 15-20 minutes so DON'T try to reset the device.
