Introduction

The instructions listed below will work for both the Apple iPhone and Android phones. It is important to note, that you will not be able to use Jabber while your phone is connected to the Midwest Hose WIFI. Also, currently your message history will not show between your computer and the phone Jabber App.

Email Help Desk

Submit a Help Desk Ticket requesting your Jabber account be allowed to be used on a hand held device.

Download Cisco Jabber

Go to either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, search and download the Cisco Jabber app.

Open Jabber

Once Jabber has been installed open the app, and click Advanced Settings. Set to Connect To Server Automatically.

Your Username

Your username is your full email address,example: helpdesk@midwesthose.com

Your Password

This will be the same password you use to log into the computer with, or to check your email with.
Once entered, press sign on.
