First you'll need to configure your VPN by adding the settings for your VPN (in most cases, these are provided by the system administrator or IT person at your company).

You can Use this tutorial guide to setup and use a VPN on iPad.

Setting Menu

Tap on setting >> General

Add Configuration

Tap on add configuration panel to open out the add configuration and select the type of vpn protocol

L2TP Protocols

For L2TP protocol enter in the details you acquired from your vpn service provider earlier.

PPTP Protocol

To setup PPTP protocol, enter the details you acquired from your vpn service provider earlier

Encryption Level

Unlike the L2TP protocol settings, the option to enter in a 'Secret' will be replaced by the optio nto choose and 'Encryption level'

IPSec Protocol

Expand

To setup IPSec protocol, provide 'Use Certificate'. 'Group Name' and Secret.

Proxy Setting

Tap either manual or auto based on your vpn providers instructions
