Steps (8 total)

Download and Start

Download: http://www.softperfect.com/products/networkscanner/
Install: not nessesary
Start: run netscan.exe (32 or 64bit)

Define the scan ranges

define one or more ranges and start scanning

Setup the Scan Options

A lot of Info are possible to scan.
If you have the rights on the device.

Enable "live display"

This scan your ranges again and again.

Set "Scan for previously undiscovered devices"

This skips the known IP and shortens the scan cycles.

As a final configure the log

For example the e-mail notification.

The E-mail include all scanned infos.
